 Heart Strong is a campaign for AMERICAN employees and their families to assist in preventing and managing high blood pressure (hypertension). Doing so helps prevent heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease.

GETTING STARTED

1. REGISTER FOR HEART STRONG

If you are interested in the Heart Strong program, contact the Wellness Center. 

2. TAKE ACTION EACH WEEK

Choose 3 activities to complete each week and check off on your Heart Strong Calendar. 

Optional: You may also drop by the wellness center to record your weekly blood pressure and your weight.

3. ENGAGE IN SUPPORT

Take advantage of the health coaches available at the wellness center by setting up an appointment to discuss your nutrition and fitness plan.

4. EXPERIENCE RESULTS

Submit your completed calendar including a final blood pressure measurement for WB+ campaign credit and to be eligible for prize drawings.
